Bringing in the New Year with Family ❤️
1. Create Family Resolutions: Gather around with your family to reflect on the past year and set meaningful resolutions for the year ahead. It's a wonderful way to connect and support each other's goals. You can even incorporate your child’s speech therapy, occupational therapy, or educational goals!
2. Start a Gratitude Jar: Encourage each family member to write down something they are grateful for every week throughout the year. By next New Year's Eve, you'll have an entire jar filled with beautiful memories to look back on.
3. Take Part in Community Service: Engaging in community service as a family can be incredibly rewarding. Whether it's volunteering at a local shelter or organizing donations, giving back is an excellent way to start the new year on a positive note.
4. Create a 2025 Vision Board: Creating a vision board is about setting the stage for the new year. Gather paper, magazine images, scissors, and glue for this activity. Personalize your board with drawings for added meaning. Use this time to connect with inner desires or loved ones if shared, inviting positive energy to make these visions a reality in 2025.
5. Create a Bucket List: While similar to setting goals and creating a vision board, creating a bucket list can be a fun way to dream big for the future. Make goals realistic or be silly and use your imagination! Some ideas: Go camping, go to a zoo, sit around a campfire while making smores, see a midnight movie premiere, etc.
