Lisa Barnick, M.S.
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Lisa was the first therapist to join Global Education Therapy in 2011. She has over 30 years of experience in early intervention programs and is a certified accent reduction trainer. Lisa is comfortable working online with children of all age groups. She is experienced with children as young as two years old all the way through high school. She is loved by our clients and brings a creative and positive attitude to every online session. goes here

Sarah Fowler, M.A., CCC-SLP
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST, SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Sarah graduated from George Washington University. She has experience with all ages and is a certified early interventionist for the state of Virginia. Sarah has ample experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, and very much enjoys doing so. She has a way of connecting with students and honing in on their interests and unique strengths to ensure therapy is as fun as it is helpful! Sarah runs our social skills group and finds meaning in helping children connect with one another.

Colleen Gates, M.S., CCC-SLP
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Colleen Gates received a degree of Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth College in Rochester NY. Colleen has over 18 years of pediatric experience providing services to children through early intervention and in school settings. Colleen has many years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum, implementing ABA-style programs, and utilizing augmentative communication systems.

Brooke Lambert, M. Ed, CCC-SLP
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Brooke has many years of experience with telepractice and earned a certificate in teletherapy from the American Telemedicine Association. She has been a leader in the telepractice community and developed an online speech therapy program for a private practice in Virginia. She comes to us with many years of experience treating children of all ages. She can handle anything from children with mild developmental delays to medically fragile patients.

Brian Walker, M.A. CCC-SLP
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Brian Walker has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 26 years. He initially worked with teens and adults with brain injuries in hospitals, outpatient clinics and private practice. For the last 18 years, he has been living and working abroad, primarily providing therapy in international schools. He works with students who have challenges with their articulation and language skills. He completed the Clinical Training Level 1 Assessment course for the Social Thinking methodology in 2016. Brian especially enjoys providing therapy to help people build their pragmatic language skills.

Yaakov Levi, MS., CCC-SLP
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Yaakov graduated in 1996 with a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Towson State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Yaakov has over 25 years of experience working in private practice evaluating and treating children and adults with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders. His areas of expertise include treatment of fluency, articulation, and voice disorders across all ages.

Abigail Harrington, M.A., CCC-SLP

Abigail earned her master’s degree in Communicative Sciences & Disorders from New York University and holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Abigail is a Neurodiversity-Affirming provider, who works with children of all ages and unique learning needs. Abigail is dedicated to delivering play-based therapy and fostering joyful learning experiences for the children she works with. Celebrating each child’s brilliant strengths and interests is always at the heart of her practice. She prioritizes caregiver collaboration and passionately advocates for the children she supports.

Christine Szeming Law, M.A., OTR/L
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, PUBLICITY MANAGER
Christine has been a pediatric occupational therapist for 10+ years with experience in feeding, sensory integration, handwriting, self-regulation, social skills, and daily life skills. She received her masters from The University of Southern California (USC) and continues to be a member of the National Board of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
While working with students with Autism spectrum disorder, attention difficulties, and learning and speech differences, Christine realized that she is passionate about parent education and collaboration. She has practiced occupational therapy with the US military and expat community in America, Germany, and the Netherlands. Christine currently lives abroad and understands many of the joys and struggles of living and raising a child abroad. As an ex-pat in Europe, Christine is excited to provide quality and comprehensive service to families both at home and abroad.

Kate Schwartz M.S., OTR/L
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Kate received her master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Puget Sound and has been practicing since 2013. She has worked in a variety of settings with both children and adults including hospitals, mental health facilities, outpatient clinics, and schools in areas including daily life skills, handwriting, fine motor, gross motor and sensory integration skills. In 2020, Kate had the opportunity to start working in a virtual setting which allowed for a greater reach in providing therapy to kids in their own home environment. After welcoming a child in 2021, Kate recognized the importance of utilizing a wholistic therapeutic approach that considers the needs of all in the family, with a focus on emotional regulation skills. She is thrilled to work with your family!

Susan S. Bhalla M.A., OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Susan has been delivering OT services since 2001 and has extensive experience evaluating, planning and implementing individual educational plans for students in a school system environment as well as working with families and caregivers to provide training and consultation. Susan has provided occupational therapy services and training of educational staff in the home environment, private practices and institutional settings in the United States, the Middle East, and Asia.
Throughout her career as a pediatric occupational therapist she has worked with students' needs in the areas of: sensory integration and modulation, executive function, fine motor and visual perceptual skills, social skills, life skills, handwriting, activities of daily living, assistive technology, and vocational training skills.
Susan holds her occupational therapy degree from University of New Hampshire and is licensed in the state of Virginia. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapist Association (AOTA) and the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists (NBCOT). Susan is currently residing in Kuala Lumpur where she provides virtual therapy in addition to talks, training and volunteers in the local economy.

Megan Kline, MSOT, OTR/L
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Megan has had the pleasure of providing occupational therapy services to children and adults around the world in clinic, school, and virtual settings for over 15 years. After completing her education at The College of William & Mary in Virginia and Washington University’s School of Medicine in St. Louis, she continued on to do a fellowship in sensory-integration and received a special certification as a brain injury practioner. She has worked as an OT throughout the Washington D.C. region, Hawai’i, Montana, Mexico, & Russia. Megan has a special interest in the visual system orthopedics and their impact on functional skills such as handwriting, play skills, and social participation. When not providing care to her clients, she enjoys spending time with her brood of three wonderful kids who give her ample practice at applying self-regulation strategies! She is looking forward to helping your child grow to reach their full potential in a playful atmosphere.

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER & READING SPECIALIST
Amy has been a teacher for 31 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in both Elementary and Special Education from Daemen College. She received her Master of Science degree in Special Education from SUNY Geneseo. Amy has taught a variety of students with varying learning abilities. Teaching students over the Internet has been an exciting journey for her. Being able to connect with students around the world from all different cultures has taken her teaching to new levels.
Amy recently became a reading specialist. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham method. Amy has also added much value to the Global Education Therapy Team by effectively managing many administrative tasks.

Diego Naranjo, M.B.A., OG Cert
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER & READING SPECIALIST
Diego is certified in the Orton-Gillingham method and taught students with learning differences in reading and math in a US bilingual school. He has an MBA, is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in French and worked as a translator and in several corporate jobs before changing careers to the field of education. Diego’s personal experience with his son’s learning and attention deficit challenges have provided daily opportunities to work with him in regards to his educational attainment as well as social aspects.
